WEDDING’S & OTHER EVENTS

1. To reserve your date, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer is required.
2. Engagement session need to be scheduled at least 2 months before your wedding.
3. Engagement session are a block of 60 minutes and within 40 to 60 miles of Bergen County, NJ.  Anything above the 60 minutes session will be charge accordingly at the photographer hourly rate.
4. A mileage fee of $0.55 per mile beyond 50 miles may apply for wedding and 30 miles for engagement sessions will be added to the cost of the wedding package at the time of booking.  Mileage fee is in accordance with NJ state mileage rates and subject to change.
5. For wedding outside of New Jersey, please contact us for our Destination Wedding Packages.
6. All bookings on Destination Weddings for photographer will be arranged by Umberto Esposito Photography for their transport and hotel accommodation.
7. Engagement gallery will be online after the portrait session.
8. Wedding gallery will be online within minimum 6 weeks after the wedding date.
9. Wedding slideshow is upon request and will be charged separately.
10. Album design will be online within minimum 6 weeks after client chooses images.
11. Album edits turned around is within 3 weeks.
12. Once final album design has been approved, albums will be delivered within minimum 3 to 4 months.
13. Any images by Umberto Esposito Photography on display at the wedding reception must be printed by Umberto Esposito Photography (excluding wedding favours)
14. Umberto Esposito Photography will not print out any images that were not taken by the studio.
15. For wedding coverage, a non refundable retainer fee of 30% is due upon booking.  This fee will be credited towards your total cost.  The remaining balance must be paid in 2 installments; 50% of the balance due to be paid 2 weeks before your wedding date, 50 %  before delivery of online gallery, 50% of balance when placing image order for album design and the final balance to be paid once you confirm your album design. Should there be no album in the package, full payment of the total cost to be paid 2 weeks before the wedding.
16. NJ sales tax of 6.625 % applies to all wedding packages.
17. Your undelivered product price is locked within 6 months after your wedding.  If your product is not approved and ordered after the stipulated time frame, Umberto Esposito Photography may not guarantee to hold the quoted price of your product.  
18. All images will be archived for 12 months.  Any retrieval of archived images will be charged at $15 per images excluding processing fee.
19. Once all assignment has been completed and wedding package is delivered, Umberto Esposito Photography will not be liable for any portion of work that is lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise unavailable to the client.
20. Simple touch up and colour correction are done at discretion of the photographer.  Touch of such instances are complimentary and on enlargement of album design (8x10 or larger).  Any further request of touch up that require photoshop skill will be assessed by the photographer and will be charged accordingly.
21. Print credit issued by Umberto Esposito Photography expires 90 days after the wedding date.

PORTRAITS

1. Session fees and reserving your appointment
    
2. Yes we charge for the time and talent of the artist & one order session with our image consultant. In order to hold your appointment, your session fee must be received within four days.
    
3. Rescheduling
    
4. Your deposit is non-refundable but I will reschedule once at your request. Please let me know at least 48 hours before the shoot if you must re-schedule, if possible. If the weather isn’t agreeable on the day of the session, I will gladly reschedule to another day.
    
5. Ordering Session
    
6. All proofing and ordering will be done at the time of the ordering session.  We do not provide images, proof sheets or prints.   Your gallery will be online for 4 days.  For a $300 prepayment, we will put the images back online in a gallery for 7 days.  The prepayment will go towards your product purchase.
    
7. Product Turn Around
    
8. All product will be ready for pick up within 4 to 6 weeks.
    
9. Multiple Sessions & Ordering
    
10. Each portrait session will be treated as an individual session.  Portrait sessions can’t be combined in product package.
     
11. Payment due up front on all product orders
     
12. Payment of any order is due in full by cash, check or credit card when you place the order. Print orders placed during an ordering session will be ready for pickup within 2-3 weeks. We will archive the images you order for 1 year for additional prints at a later date. There is a $250 minimum for re-orders.
     
13. Unclaimed Prints
     
14. We will discard any prints after 120 days unclaimed after notification of completion of the order.
     
15. All orders must be placed in writing
     
16. You can place an order in writing at your proofing session, via email, online proofing gallery, mail, or in person.  Ask us for an order sheet.  We do not take orders over the phone.Refunds
     
17. No refunds are allowed once work has commenced on an order.
     
18. Touchups
     
19. Touch ups are only done per-request.  Touch ups are complimentary on enlargements (8×10 and larger) and any images in albums.  For additional requests please refer to photoshop rates. Rates start at $20 per image or $20 per 15 minutes of photoshop work.
     
20. Scheduling
     
21. Portrait sessions are 60 minutes and within 10 – 20 miles of Bergen County(New Jersey only).
     
22. Portrait sessions are scheduled on weekdays only.  Exceptions are made for portrait sessions in Bergen County, NJ if scheduling is available.
     
23. Umberto Esposito blocks out two days a week to shoot portraits. These days may vary upon request, but typically they are Tuesday and Thursday.
     
24. Mini-sessions are typically 30 minutes, or specified in package upon booking.  Mini-sessions are only applicable when multiple sessions are booked back to back on the same date.
     
25. Travel Fees
     
26. Travel in Bergen County is included in the package cost.

28. A word about Copyright:
     
29. Copyright is protected by the Federal Copyright Law. It is unlawful to copy or scan any images without permission of the photographer. Even though the pictures may be of you or your child, the photographer still owns the copyright to the image. In order to control the quality of the work produced, the photographer is the only one who can crop, modify, order any image produced at this photo session. Umberto Esposito Photography retains the copyright and ownership of all images of the photo session and reserves the right to reproduce images for portfolio, studio display, gallery display, website, self-promotion, photo contests, etc. Clients are not allowed to reproduce any images produced by the photographer for any purpose without written consent. No other camera equipment other than the photographer’s is allowed in the photo session.
